When I was living in Charleston I took full advantage of this coastal Georgia city being only a two hour drive away, and quickly learned that it has quite the food scene. I’ve rounded out my favorite spots for all times of the day.
Breakfast/Brunch
The Collins Quarter - Where my love for Avocado Toast flourished.
Ordinary Pub - A fun hungover brunch spot with a killer menu.
Lunch
Bull Street Taco - A bit off the beaten path, but if I had to recommend one place in Savannah, this might be it, and you might just have to take my word for this one.
The Wyld Dock Bar - A waterside seafood restaurant, ideal for relaxing on a dock, sipping some cocktails and snacking on some small plates. Worth the drive over.
Drinks
Starland Yard - I love this spot for a pre-dinner drink and place to hang. It’s a permanent food truck park with regular live music and plenty of cold beer to go around.
Peregrin - The stunning rooftop bar on top of the Perry Lane Hotel. The drinks are great but the view is where it’s at. They don’t take reservations and it gets pretty packed around sunset, so I recommend going a bit earlier to snag a spot.
Two Tides Brewing - A cute spot to grab a beer with fun games and different rooms to sip in.
The Grove - A Savannah staple and a great spot to stop and grab a drink on their rooftop.
Dinner
Cotton & Rye - I’d go back to this place just for the Crispy Chicken Wings (they’re award-winning for a reason). A very approachable menu with a modern vibe.
Coffee
The Paris Market - Adorable place to grab coffee and shop around.
Night Cap
Artillery Bar - I tried TONS of espresso martinis in Savannah and genuinely feel like this is the only one I can truly recommend. Also just a fun cocktail bar open late.
